Privacy statement
We process two types of data: the contact details you send us and the storage devices in the hardware we collect. Below, we explain how we handle both.

2. The data we process
When you submit a request through the form or via WhatsApp:
- company name and contact person’s name;
- email address and, if provided, phone number;
- collection location;
- the photos and description you supply;
- whether, to your knowledge, storage devices are included.
3. How we use that data
- assessing your request;
- arranging and carrying out a collection;
- preparing the data removal certificate;
- our own records and statutory retention requirements.
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing messages and do not sell it.
4. Data on the hardware we collect
Storage devices such as HDDs and SSDs are kept separate from other hardware. Where possible, specialist, certified partners securely erase or destroy them. The processing is documented and you receive a certificate.
We do not access the contents of storage devices. If we unexpectedly encounter data that requires notification, we will contact you.
5. How long we retain data
We retain requests that do not result in collection for a maximum of twelve months. We keep data relating to completed work and issued certificates for the applicable statutory retention periods.
6. Who we share data with
- certified partners that erase or destroy storage devices;
- transport providers and processors involved in collection;
- our hosting provider, to store form submissions.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data. To do so, send a message toinfo@drive4recycle.nl. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Cookies
This website does not place tracking cookies or use external analytics services that track you across websites.
