How it works

How collection works, from photo to processing

You send one photo of your old hardware. We take care of the other six steps.

  • Free for businesses. No minimum, no weight limit.
  • A proposal within 1 working day
  • Collection by appointment, across the Netherlands
You’ll speak with Bob or Sam. +31 6 48 78 78 90
[ 01 ] Step 01 · 1 minute

You take a photo of the equipment

Take one photo of the equipment with your phone and send it via WhatsApp. No counting items, no serial numbers, no form.

  • One photo of the whole pile is enough
  • You do not need to count or sort anything
  • Prefer a short description? That works too

[ 02 ] Step 02 · Within 1 working day

We reply with a proposal

We’ll tell you what we can collect, when we can come and what will happen to the hard drives.

  • What we take
  • When we can come
  • What happens to the storage devices

[ 03 ] Step 03 · By appointment

We come and take it all away

We bring a van and a team to your location, do the lifting and loading, and take everything away. Anywhere in the Netherlands, free of charge.

  • By appointment, at your premises
  • We do the lifting and loading
  • No skip or transport to arrange

[ 04 ] Step 04 · On arrival

We sort into three categories

Every device is assigned to reuse, parts or recycling. Storage devices are set aside straight away.

A

Reuse

Works and is still usable.

B

Parts

Incomplete, but with usable parts.

C

Recycling

Can no longer be reused.

Usable hardware goes to start-ups, small businesses, schools and non-profit organisations.

[ 05 ] Step 05 · Via partners

Drives are erased or destroyed

Specialised partners erase in line with NIST SP 800-88 or destroy in line with DIN 66399. Every storage device is recorded individually.

  • Specialised, certified partners
  • Erasure to NIST SP 800-88
  • Destruction to DIN 66399

[ 06 ] Step 06 · By email

You receive the certificate

A data removal certificate listing the type, serial number and processing method for each storage device.

  • For your own records
  • Useful for an audit or a question from management
[ 07 ] Step 07 · After sale

Part of the proceeds goes to a local charity

If your batch generates proceeds, an agreed share goes to Stichting KEI Rijswijk.
